This 2nd floor family room (**this can also be booked as a double room ) is situated at the rear of the building, offers a great place for you to relax after a long day visiting the beach, exploring or walking the coastal path. A king size bed for the adults and two bunk beds for the children. The room is also furnished with a chest of drawers and a double wardrobe. Private, en-suite shower room. In addition there is a complimentary hospitality tray & toiletries & a hairdryer in the room.

A calm atmosphere
Our hosts Jo and Martin were very welcoming, cheerful and relaxed. There was no urgency to deal with our arrival. Obviously very experienced in running a guest house and have a cheerful disposition in handling children and people. Our room was bright, cheerful and the bed was very comfortable. Complimentary facilities were generous. The shower room was small but they made the most of the space available. There was very little noise heard, the breakfast was well presented to our taste. Overall, we loved our stay there and will staythere again in the future.

Great B&B, friendly hosts, excellent location
We stayed with Jo and Martin at Cherwood Guest House for a weekend in Oct 2025 during a last-minute, half-term break in Paignton.We had a great stay and couldn't fault either the property or our hosts. The location is very central in Paignton, literally 2 mins walk from the sea / pier / playground.Our family room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything we needed.Breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and set us up for the day.Big thank you to our hosts and we would 100% recommend Cherwood (book direct for best deals!).

Brilliant
Had a lovely stay at this guest house . The best we have stayed in and will definitely return . Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed , including added extras, tissues, make up wipes, shower gel. The dining room was welcoming and friendly with an array of cold itemsforcontinental breakfast. Martin was a fab cook and hot breakfast was yummy . He did me one of the best omelets I have ever had .Jo and Martin are what make this place a pleasure to be here . Friendly , chatty and full of local knowledge . A lovely couple. We will definitely stay here again when we are back this way .
