We are husband and wife team Martin and Jo, who own, run and live at Cherwood Guest House in Paignton, Devon on the south coast, often referred to as the ‘English Riviera’ due to it’s temperate climate.
Having enjoyed successful careers in the travel and tourism and hospitality industries, with years of experience working on cruise ships, we decided we would like to offer a smaller, more personal service of our own. We believe we understand what our guests are looking for, be it family-friendly, a romantic break or simply a weekend away.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality accommodation with excellent service. All of our 8en-suite rooms are clean, stylish & comfortably furnished. Located just a few minutes’ walk away from Paignton Beach/Pier we are the perfect base from which to explore.
